The Northern Plains Chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals is proud to offer this great opportunity to hear local and national speakers who will being different fundraising perspectives to you and your organization! Russell James "Why Cash is Not King in Fundraising"
Russell James, J.D., Ph.D., CFP® is a professor in the Department of Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University where he directs the on-campus and online graduate program in Charitable Financial Planning (planned giving). Dr. James has published research in over 40 different peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been quoted on charitable and financial issues in a variety of news sources including The Economist, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC News, U.S. News & World Report, USA Today, the Associated Press, Bloomberg News and the Chronicle of Philanthropy and his financial neuroimaging research was profiled in The Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money Magazine.

Pamela Jones Davidson, J.D. - she will be speaking on the New Tax Act - both Secure Act and the Cares Act - round two!
Pamela Jones Davidson, J.D., has been a nationally recognized speaker in charitable gift planning for decades. She is President of Davidson Gift Design, Bloomington, Indiana, a consulting firm specializing in motivational presentations about all aspects of gift planning, planned giving program design and implementation, training and orientation. She is also a Senior Vice President for Thompson & Associates, offering estate planning services to nonprofits. From 1985 through 1996, she was with Indiana University Foundation, its Executive Director of Planned Giving and Associate Counsel.

Wayne Olson will be our 12 noon - 1 p.m. central speaker on July 21st! Wayne presented at this year's Association of Fundraising Professionals International Convention, AFPICON! Wayne is also the author of The Disney Difference: The Complete Guide to Adding Disney-Like Magic to your Corporation or Organization. Wayne is a nationally-known and sought after speaker, trainer and expert on customer relations, customer service, motivation, leadership and donor relations as well fundraising in general. In addition to his work in customer service and sales, in the charitable world, he is an expert on planned giving, specializing in making the usually dry and complicated subject of planning giving easy to understand, use and fun. He is a frequent contributor to magazines and other periodicals, and he writes for a national publisher where his words are used by hundreds of charities in their websites, newsletters and brochures. Wayne is excited to join us on July 21st! Added bonus, all attendees will be shipped his book after the morning of training, free!
